Summer's here!
The higher the temperature, the shorter the dress. Summer has a wider variety of clothing choices compared to winter and I believe that it is a season for casual wear. Hot Indian summer demands sweat-free look. And yes, comfort's definitely a factor.
Here's my first post, sharing tips for styling this summer.
Shorts and tank tops are an all-time-in-trend and of course floral dresses for day outs are most preferable. Neons must be well flaunted in the days and wearing lighter shades of grey for summer nights are a right choice. Never to forget the turquoise and oranges. They're much of summer colours. Also walking out in lemon greens and yellows give a fresh look in the day time.
Enough talk about colours. If you're looking for a careless, not-too-worked-on look, try simple short frocks with a messy hair bun, and canvas shoes. A little side bag is always an add on. Keep make up minimum and nude for summer days. Brightening your lips with shades like orange or pink can occasionally be preferred too. Do not forget carrying sun glasses that suit your face. Wearing a bigger sized one always makes a girl look cuter. Nailcolour looks better nude. Peach is another option for the day. Moving out with nails painted black can be regular and of course you can apply brighter nail colour according to your dress for night. Distressed Denims are so much of the summer-night-thing and crop tops with a superman or batman icon are my personal favourites.
I also like pairing high waisted jeans with my crop tops. Scatter skirts with bralets always give a good look too. Opt for wearing stilettos and also some locket with them.
Colourful Dungarees are another preferable outfit, with a tube or tank top. Also, try Transparent shirts.
Being specific about the hairstyle, always try to keep your long hair tucked in rubber bands. Messy buns too are always sexy.
Also, high ponytails look cute, and French braiding is a smart choice too. Fashion is not just about looking good. Its about looking good with comfort. If your hair is too short to be tied, try using a headband. Alternatively, you could also try using some colourful bobby pins.
Moving to footwear, wearing normal flats or canvas shoes are not bad either. If you need height, then wages should be your choice.
Never to forget, using sunscreen with a high SPF is a must to keep your skin safe. Carrying an umbrella is in fashion too, although that's optional.
